Another bad break for Katharine McPhee.
Just days after joining the American Idols Live tour following her recovery from bronchitis and laryngitis, the second-place finisher is back on the disabled list after tripping backstage and fracturing her foot before a concert in North Carolina.
Despite the injury, McPhee took the stage in slippers to perform her two solo numbers. X-rays taken after the show revealed a hairline fracture in her left foot, her publicist at RCA Records said.
Though McPhee is "in discomfort," according to the rep, she plans to continue on the tour, which wraps up Sept. 24 in Pennsylvania.
